Our yellow jersey this week goes to one of our local businesses sponsors, Coco Noir in Headington. We award the yellow as a thank you from the Balls to Parkinson’s team to our supporters who have made a significant contribution to our fundraising efforts that week.

Coco Noir is a very well established independent coffee shop in Headington. The cafe combines great coffee and an excellent range of hand made chocolates, with a very warm welcome for their local customers.

When starting to promote our fundraiser, the Headington Village Hall Bash which kicks off our summer of Balls to Parkinson’s events next weekend, the owner, was only too pleased to put up our posters in prominent positions in his cafe and to donate some of their excellent hand made chocolates as a raffle prize.

Despite being busy when I went in, Cafe Noir’s owner took the time to find out more about what we are doing and why we are fundraising for Parkinson’s U.K. and the OddBalls Foundation. He also graciously donated some raffle prizes for the Village Hall Bash next week.
