Mission 2026: The Next Adventure has Brewed
We had so much fun raising nearly £28,000 in 2025 that we wanted to contribute further to help raise the public’s awareness of Parkinson’s and testicular cancer. The B2P Cycle Team will be undertaking another epic ride, this time the 60 miles from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London, to the John Radcliff Hospital in Oxford.
The B2P Blooming Parkinson’s Garden Ride
The B2P Blooming Parkinson’s Garden Ride will mark the removal from the show and the installation at the John Radcliff of the wonderful Parkinson’s UK garden entitled “A Garden for Every Parkinson’s Journey”. designed by award winning gardener and BBC presenter Arit Anderson. Arit has a very personal connection with Parkinson’s, her sister’s recent diagnosis inspiring the garden design.
The garden symbolises the journey of living with Parkinson’s: the moments of adaptation, challenge, hope and connection. A perfect complement to the Balls to Parkinson’s spirit, which enabled us to battle challenging terrain, terrible weather yet forge the strongest of bonds during the London to Brighton last September.
The ride from London to Oxford this year will commence on the morning of Sunday the 31st of May 2026, covering the 60 miles between Chelsea in London and the John Radcliff Hospital in Oxford, including a challenging section taking the team over the Chilterns.

The Parkinson’s Garden will be more than just a garden. It’s a space for people with the condition to participate in its maintenance helping to improve their fine motor skills, take part in exercise and promote movement – overcoming stiffness, anxiety and freezing. The community as a whole will benefit from just being out in a garden space, especially those who can’t garden.
Raising Garden Awareness
To highlight the benefits and mark the opening of the garden at the John Radcliff, the Balls to Parkinson’s Cycle Team plan to arrive as a single peloton, clad in resplendent matching multi-coloured team uniform and declare the garden open.
