Help? Sometimes All You Need to Do Is Ask

What a positive way to end the week. I’ll admit, I spent a good few minutes pacing outside the door, practicing my ‘sales’ pitch and trying to look like a man who knew exactly what he was doing. I was there to ask local businesses to support Balls to Parkinson’s by donating a raffle or auction item.

First business I tried was Majestic Wine. I can’t thank Freddie Whitelaw enough for not only taking the time to listen to my request but also for very generously donating a magnum of fizz for our June 22nd fundraiser.

What a star! It turns out my nerves were misplaced. Huge thanks to Majestic Wine and Freddie for helping us kick off the raffle in such high style!”
